Anonymous: Unnatural Disaster disaster looks great. I was wondering how you managed to get that pinkish-yellow marbling looking effect in the sky on it. Basically it just came through layers of paint; thin glazes of colour placed over one another. (this one began with a mid-pink base, covered in a white glaze. Pink was the reintroduced, along with the yellow). In the final stages, white paint mixed with turpentine (very dilute) was sprayed/flicked from the brush onto the canvas to create a dappled effect. I also used spray paint on certain parts. It’s basically the culmination of many different stages and techniques!
